This fibreglass modular bathroom meets the Australian Standard AS1428.1-2001 requirements for use by people with disabilities. The bathroom comes in two different internal styles. It can be provided in different packages to suit the client, builder or installer. These include flat packed, with or without fitting, or assembled. It is available for purchase only.
Height adjustable baths which can be used with the Arjo Lift Hygiene Chair for a seated person or Arjo Lift bath trolley for a recumbent person for transferring in and out of the bath.
Installation of a bath for use by people with a physical disability is not generally recommended. A shower with a seat and without a hob, is usually a safer alternative. However as some people find a bath beneficial. When purchasing a bath, consider features that influence safety and ease of entry and exit.
A custom made shower base insert for shower recesses with a raised hob. It enables the use of a wheeled shower commode. The insert is made from aluminium with a perforated slip resistant surface that allows drainage The insert is adjustable in height to suit the individual shower base. Ramp access is optional.
A height adjustable bath for positioning in the centre of a bathroom so carers can move freely around the bath. The control panel is built into the side of the bath. The user can rest their head at either end of the bath. The bath has curved interior lines, ergonomic hand rails and an in built footrest. Available in one size with a whirlpool option. The control panel can be located on the right or the left side of the bath.
This self contained hygienic shower / toilet system comes as a portable, freestanding unit. It dismantles to several parts for ease of delivery and can be installed in a short period of time. The Careport may suit homes where bathroom modification is not possible. Available for sale as well as short or long term rental.
A porcelain / steel fitted bath which is also available as a spa. It is wide with a deep flat bowl. Surestep slip resistance on the base is optional. Available in two sizes. Suitable for general applications.
The Classic is a walk in bathtub with an outward opening door. It is available as a soaker bathtub or as a spa bath with water jets or warm air massage. The Stretch model is similar but with a higher seat. It is for people who are over 1.8m tall and weigh more than 140kg.
