Hillview was established by the Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai areas health service to provide a wide range of health services and health education programs to the residents of this area. Aims are to provide information on health, leisure, practical assistance, family support and related topics.

INS HealthCare is an Aged Care Provider delivering a comprehensive range of health related services 24 hours, 7 days a week including personal care, domestic assistance, shopping, companionship, transport, social outings, gardening and lawn mowing. The serviced areas include the Illawarra region and Southern Highlands.

KinCare provides community care services to the frail aged, people with a disability, and their carers. Services vary from cleaning and assisting with meal preparation to nursing services, assistance with showers, dressing, personal grooming and mobility. They also provide respite care. Services are available from 30 minutes to 24 hour live-in care.

Life Without Barriers is a registered charity and not for profit organisation providing a range of creative and innovative programs to people with disabilities and children and young people in crisis throughout New South Wales, South Australia, ACT, Tasmania and Queensland.

Local councils and in particular, the community service department may be able to advise where you can get help with home maintenance, home modifications such as wheelchair ramps, bathrooms and handrails, lopping overhead tree branches, senior citizen clubs, meals on wheels, delivery of library books to your home if you are housebound, parking permits, rate rebates for pensioners, accessible amenities for people with special needs.

Doctor Benjamin Austin provides a mobile dental service to people in their homes or aged care facilities in the Greater Sydney Metropolitan area.. He provides a wide range of dental services to people who would have difficulty attending a dental surgery.

The National Home Doctor Service is a network of home visiting doctors who provide after hours care to patients at home and in nursing homes. It is a fully bulk-billed service for people with a Medicare or DVA card. It currently operates in Sydney, Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra.

The focus of the community activity network is supporting programs for school aged children that occur outside school hours (ie before and after school centres). Enquiries may also be made regarding these programs for children with a disability, although there are limited services available at this time. Also have a library with information on a range of activities for people of all ages with a disability.
