AgrABILITY Australia is a self help network of farmers and farmworkers with disabilities. Based on a similar concept in America, AgrABILITY administered by Kate Boughton, commenced in Australia in 1996.
Commonweath government employment services for people who are ill, injured or have a disability
Ability Options Employment is a large disability employment service in New South Wales with several full time offices and outreach centres across Sydney. The service is dedicated to finding sustainable jobs for people with a disability. They provide employment, training and long term job support services.
The Employment Assistance Fund helps people with a disability and mental health condition by providing financial assistance to purchase a range of work related modifications and services. Assistance is available for people who are about to start a job or who are currently working, as well as those who require assistance to find and prepare for work.
Essential Personnel provides a professional employment and training service to enable people with disabilities to obtain and retain valued employment. It is a not for profit organisation, funded by the Department of Family and Community Services. It has branches throughout NSW.
Hornsby Challenge operates employment support programs for adults with an intellectual disability.
JobAccess is a free information and advice service about the employment of people with disability. It helps people with disability, employers, service providers and the community to access information about services, financial assistance and workplace solutions. It is an initiative of the Australian Government to support the employment of people with disability.
Job Centre Australia is a non-profit organisation providing employment and training solutions from several locations across NSW and QLD.
