To achieve this they provide a comprehensive service, assisting people to identify career goals, develop pre-employment skills, and once employed provide ongoing support.

Safe Work Australia is a national government organisation with primary responsibility to lead the development of policy to improve work health and safety and workers? compensation arrangements across Australia. It performs its functions in accordance with strategic and operational plans agreed annually by the Select Council on Workplace Relations.

Workforce is an employment agency assisting people with physical disabilities to enter the open labour market. It is a subsidiary of the Spinal Cord Injuries Australia and is funded by the Department of Family and Community Services.

TAFE NSW enrols a large number of students with a disability and provides specialist support to assist students to successfully complete their course.

Transition to Work is a Northcott based government funded service for people with disabilities who require assistance to get a job or to study after finishing school. The vocational educators work closely with the client to develop their own personal skill learning program through group and individual activities. The service is available from eight NSW locations.

Most universities have services / committees that deal with equity in education, the concerns of students with disabilities, & access.
