Acoustic Hearing Clinics are Queensland government-accredited providers of hearing aids and assessments. They have several clinics on the Sunshine Coast. Their service includes the provision of free hearing aids to eligible veterans and pensioners as well as the fitting and repairing of hearing aids from all major manufacturers. Their clinicians provide a full range of treatments including rehabilitation, counselling, and tinnitus management.

ACE has been formed from the merging of two organisations, Deaflink and Deafness Resources Australia. It administers the National Relay Service (see 91.69). Their philosophy is to encourage independence empowerment through communication and information.

The Office of Hearing Services manages the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. The Program improves access to quality hearing services for eligible clients, provides better targeted hearing services and supports research into hearing loss prevention and management.

Australian Hearing is an Australian Government agency dedicated to helping people manage their hearing impairment so they have a better quality of life. They provide a full range of hearing services for children and young people up to the age of 26 and eligible adults.

A non-profit company which aims to assist people with tinnitus. There is a joining fee and annual membership fee which includes subscription to the quarterly newsletter.

Provides an aural rehabilitation program designed to overcome the fears and isolation and address the needs of those with hearing loss. Also provides advice about assistive devices. Fees for classes. Prefer appointment to be made. Disabled access and facilities are limited.

Provides support and advice for pre and post cochlear implantees and families. Also provides opportunities to meet others socially and share information.
