Short Description
An electrical control unit designed to be an interface between a switch and an electrical appliance such as a microwave, toaster or hair dryer. It assists people control a conventional 240 volt appliance using single switch input. Modes of operation include direct, timed seconds, timed minutes and latched. The switch can be plugged in in directly or can be used remotely via infrared.

The Infrared Remote unit has an in built infrared sensor, enabling it to be controlled with an Airlink Infrared Switch.
More Details
There are four modes of operation:
- Direct: Hold down the switch to keep the appliance on.
- Timed Seconds: Press the switch once to turn the appliance on for a preset time up to 60 seconds.
- Timed Minutes: Press the switch once to turn the appliance on for a preset time up to 60 minutes.
- Latch: Press the switch once to turn the appliance on, press it again to turn it off.
The Powerlink 2 has an infrared sensor that can provide the option to control the Powerlink using the Airlink switch. The Airlink is an infrared remote with a 6.5cm switch on a black angled base. It is operated by either pressing directly onto the switch, or by plugging in an alternative switch.
As there is an infrared connection between the Airlink and Powerlink 2 they must have a clear line of sight between each other.
Switches are sold separately.
Standards
