Short Description

A four wheeled, rear wheel drive scooter designed for outdoor use. The delta tiller has wrap around handles with thumb or finger controls. The scooter has moulded seating with viscoelastic inserts, solid tyres and an external battery charger. A range of options and accessories is available. Available in Viper Blue only.

FRAME
Steel frame with plastic shrouds.
Slip resistant surface on foot platform.
Rear anti tip bars rear with rollers are bolted to the scooter frame.
The tiller can be adjusted forwards/backwards using a screw knob at the base of the tiller.

UPHOLSTERY
Smooth vinyl upholstery over foam padding.

SEAT
Moulded plastic seat frame with vinyl covered foam padding.
Seat can be adjusted:
. to several different heights by removing the seat and altering the height of the seat post. There are several pre-drilled holes for adjustment.
. rotated to 8 different positions. The seat rotation lever is located under the right side of the seat. Push forward to unlock.
. forwards and backwards. The seat sliding lever is located at the lower left side of the seat. The lever is held out to allow the seat to move.

BACKREST
Vinyl covered, padded, contoured back rest. It folds flat onto the seat for transport.

ARMRESTS
Desk length, width adjustable armrests. They are padded and have vinyl upholstery.

WHEELS
Puncture proof solid tyres, 25.4 cm diameter..

CONTROLS
A looped hand grip on each side of the tiller control panel allows the scooter to be operated with thumb or finger control, and the right or left hand. The operation of the forwards/backwards control lever can be changed to suit the preferred hand
Programmable proportional controls.
The control panel has the speed selection knob, battery indicator, headlight, rear reflectors, 2 x horn buttons and back-lit LED battery meter.
Charging point is located on tiller underneath the hand controls.

BATTERIES
2 x 12 volt, deep cycle. 35AH (standard) or 40AH (optional).

MOTOR
Rear wheel drive, 24volt DC motor.
Motor disengagement lever on rear of scooter.

TRANSPORT or DISMANTLING
Scooter can be dismantled to parts: front section, seat, rear section, battery shroud, basket and 2 x batteries.

COLOURS
Frame cover in blue only, seat upholstery is black.

BRAKES
Electronic, regenerative and electromagnetic brakes.

Licence & Insurance Requirements

In NSW, motorised wheelchairs that weigh less than 110 kg and cannot travel at more than 10 km/h do not have to be registered, provided they are being used by a person with mobility problems. A person driving a motorised wheelchair under these circumstances is defined as a pedestrian under the Australian Road Rules and is permitted to travel on a footpath or nature strip adjacent to the road.

Vehicles exempt from registration are covered by the nominal defendant scheme (administered by the Motor Accidents Authority) if they are at fault in an accident in NSW on a road or road-related area and cause injury to another person. However, this cover is only valid in NSW.
