Dementia Awareness Week is aimed at informing people who may have memory problems to seek information and help. A booklet called 'Worried about your memory' provides information about what people can do if they think they are experiencing memory problems.

A free public lecture by Professor John Breitner on Early Diagnosis of Dementia will be a highlight of Dementia Awareness Week. It will be held on 26 September, 9.30am for 10.00am – 12 noon at NSW Parliament House.
