A community based employment agency which provides assistance for people with a mental illness to obtain and maintain employment. The service is for people living in western Sydney and the Blue Mountains with offices in Parramatta, Penrith, Liverpool and Mt Druitt.
Women With Disabilities Australia (WWDA) is a national body which seeks to ensure equal opportunities in all walks of life for all women with disabilities. Their aim is to be a national voice for the needs and rights of women with disabilities and a national force to improve the lives and life chances of women with disabilities. WorkCover NSW is a statutory authority within the Minister for Commerce's portfolio. Its primary objective is to work in partnership with the NSW community to achieve safe workplaces, effective return to work and security for injured workers.
The Workers Health Centre is accredited by NSW Government through workcover and provides quality independent occupational health and safety advice and service across NSW. Services for workers include:- * Occupational Medicine: Hearing Assessments; Rehabilitation * Occupational hygiene and workplace inspections; Training * Library of workplace health and safety; publications and resource * Telephone advice; Help for migrant workers.
The Working Carers Support Gateway website is for NSW carers generally, and low income and isolated carers in particular, who have both caring and workplace responsibilities. The site offers relevant information and support.
The Arncliffe YMCA is the only YMCA offering a leisure and recreational program for adults with a mild to moderate intellectual disability in the Sydney area. The program is available to anyone who can get to the centre themselves.
