Adult Learning Australia ALA is the National Association representing many organisations and individuals involved with adult and community education in Australia. It is consulted by the Australian Government and the Australian National Commission of UNESCO. It is the Australian representative body in the international council for adult education and the Asian Pacific Bureau of Adult Education.

An organisation who promotes blind and vision impaired sports to all members of the community as a worthwhile activity to increase social inclusion and for a sustainable healthy lifestyle. They aim to increase the participation in blind and vision impaired sports by all the blind community regardless of age or severity of vision impairment. They advocate on behalf of its members at local, national and international level.

The Australian Brain Foundation provides information and support regarding brain injuries and diseases.

This association provides guidance and information to expectant mothers and mothers with babies, regarding breast feeding and child care.

ACE has been formed from the merging of two organisations, Deaflink and Deafness Resources Australia. It administers the National Relay Service (see 91.69). Their philosophy is to encourage independence empowerment through communication and information.
